CEREBROVASCULAR ACCIDENTS - PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE
Abstract:
Cerebrovascular accidents represent a major public health problem of the population at the global level and one of the most threats addressed to the human society at present but also in the future. The cerebrovascular accident (CVA) involves important financial and bio-psycho-social problems. However, the cerebrovascular accident is one of the disorders with the greatest prevention degree because it has many changeable risk factors, common to those of other cardiovascular diseases and well studied interventions which offer a prevention opportunity.
