STUDY ON ANTHROPOMETRY OF THE CHILDRENWITH ASTHMA TREATEDWITH INHALED CORTICOSTEROIDS
Abstract:
Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) used in long-term treatment in children with asthma can have
negative effects on growth and development. We conducted the study over a period of two years, during
which we measured a series of anthropometric parameters at intervals of six months. The results do not
indicate a significant decrease in growth rate in the studied cases.
