Abstract:
Bone scan is a diagnostic procedure that identifies areas with abnormal bone turnover by creating the image of a radioactive tracer collected in the skeletal system. The procedure is performed for a number of uses, enabling detection of cancer in the earliest stages. There are no absolute contraindications to this procedure.
