GENETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY IN GASTRIC CANCER
Abstract:
There are many evidences suggesting that genetic predisposition plays an important part in
gastric cancer genesis. About 10% of gastric neoplasms express family aggregation, and a family
history of gastric cancer increases the risk to develop it by 2-3 times. Familial aggregation of gastric
cancers comprises two main categories: hereditary tumours with genetic etiology and tumours
